The mango tree was first discovered in South East Asia 2000 years ago and has become a symbol of good fortune and well-being. Our farmed mango wood comes exclusively from Thai plantations. As mango trees age they stop bearing fruit altogether and only then are harvested for their wood. Before reaching this stage, however, new trees are always planted, thus continuing a sustainable cycle ensuring no harm to the natural environment.
